‘Accelerator’ is the first offering from Paul White’s new EP by the same name, which is out on February 10^th via R&S Records. White’s first solo project, Everything You’ve Forgotten, was released late last year, and if ‘Accelerator’ is a sign of things to come, things are looking exciting for the British producer. The production is frantic, frenetic and frenzied – offbeat drums clash with relentless bass riffs and crazed guitar wails. The video, directed by Eoin Glaister, is utterly extraordinary. It follows Ewen MacIntosh (who you may recognise from The Office), who plays a man chasing a demonic cartoon brain around the city. It’s a bizarre, hilarious and slightly dark representation of what it might be like to, literally, loose your mind. Combined with Danny Brown’s frenetic vocals screaming “Lost my mind and I’m going crazy”, the overall effect is quite something. Be sure to check it out below. -HM
